FOUNDER & CEO

Ashley Winkler is the visionary behind LUX Med Spa and Wellness Center, Sarasota’s premier destination for advanced skincare, anti-aging solutions, medical weight loss, hormone optimization, and whole-body wellness.

Her passion for aesthetics was first sparked during her time living in Japan, a country renowned for its innovation and excellence in skincare. Inspired by its beauty culture and commitment to preventative care, Ashley began her own journey into the world of anti-aging and skin health, ultimately turning that passion into purpose.

Before founding LUX, Ashley gained valuable experience managing a physical medicine and chiropractic office. But it was her entrepreneurial spirit and desire to help others feel confident inside and out, that led her to create LUX: a brand grounded in science, sophistication, and personalized care.

A proud Fort Lauderdale native now thriving in Sarasota, Ashley is also a dedicated mother of three and an advocate for female entrepreneurship. She has proudly mentored and supported several women in launching their own businesses, embodying her belief that empowered women empower others.

Medical Director

Dr. John Fezza — a nationally recognized expert in facial aesthetics and oculoplastic surgery. He’s known not only for his surgical expertise, but also for his refined approach to nonsurgical rejuvenation, making him a sought-after voice in the medical aesthetic field. With over 20 years of experience as a double board-certified facial plastic and oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. John Fezza is widely respected for his rare combination of surgical precision, aesthetic artistry, and clinical leadership — qualities that have earned him national recognition in the field of medical aesthetics.

Dr. Fezza has long been recognized as a key opinion leader and national educator for Allergan, the makers of industry-leading products such as Botox and Juvéderm, In this role, he trains fellow medical providers across the country in the art and science of facial aesthetics — from advanced injection techniques to safety protocols and emerging technologies.

As Medical Director, Dr. Fezza provides clinical leadership and oversight to ensure that every service at LUX is delivered with medical integrity and aesthetic intention.

Lead Aesthetic Injector | Wellness Provider

Beth Allison graduated from the University of Florida as a certified Physician Assistant and brings over 30 years of healthcare experience to LUX MedSpa and Wellness Center. Her extensive medical background, combined with a deep passion for aesthetics, allows her to deliver both safe and sophisticated results.

Beth’s dedication to health, wellness, and empowering others naturally led her to aesthetic medicine—where she helps clients enhance their appearance, boost confidence, and embrace the best version of themselves.

Known for her calm, compassionate demeanor and her meticulous, gentle touch, Beth creates a soothing treatment experience rooted in precision, trust, and care. Her approach is always personalized, ensuring each client feels heard, supported, and beautiful in their own skin.

A proud Sarasota native and devoted mom of two, Beth values genuine connection, lifelong learning, and staying at the forefront of innovative aesthetic techniques. She is honored to help clients feel radiant, confident, and refreshed—inside and out.

Aesthetic Injector | Anti-aging Specialist

Aris Smith Kopiec is a certified Physician Assistant and experienced aesthetic injector with a strong background in both emergency medicine and cosmetic dermatology. With several years of ER experience and advanced training in laser technologies, neurotoxins, and dermal fillers, Aris blends clinical expertise with an artistic eye to deliver safe, beautiful, and natural-looking results.

She takes a whole-person approach to aesthetics—focusing not only on enhancing features, but on restoring confidence and supporting overall wellness. Her extensive laser training allows her to offer patients cutting-edge solutions for skin tightening, resurfacing, pigment correction, and more, all tailored to individual goals and skin types.

Formerly an ER provider, Aris brings a calm, confident presence and an exceptional standard of care to every appointment. She is passionate about education and takes the time to ensure each patient feels fully informed, comfortable, and empowered in their aesthetic journey.

As a proud mom of three girls, Aris knows firsthand how important it is to take care of yourself while caring for others—and she’s honored to help her patients do just that at LUX.

Aesthetic Injector | Anti-aging Specialst

Born and raised in Sarasota, Florida, I graduated from Riverview High School in 2016 before beginning my career in nursing. Over the past five years, I’ve worked as a registered nurse in step-down and cardiology units, as well as in dermatology—experiences that strengthened my love for patient care and sparked my passion for skin health.

Most recently, I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I chose aesthetics because I believe healthy, radiant skin has the power to transform not only how we look, but how we feel. My goal is always to create natural, confidence-boosting results while ensuring every patient feels heard, comfortable, and cared for.

At LUX Med Spa & Wellness Center, I’m excited to bring this patient-first philosophy to every treatment—combining advanced training, artistry, and a love for empowering others to look and feel their best.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of two and love spending time with my family, soaking up life’s little moments.

Aesthetic Injector | PDO Thread Specialist

Karen DeBaron is a board-certified Physician Associate with over 15 years of aesthetic experience and a passion for helping clients look and feel their best. A Sarasota native and Riverview High School alumna, Karen went on to earn her degree from the University of Florida in 1990.

In addition to her extensive aesthetic expertise, she brings 15 years of clinical experience from her ongoing work in the Emergency Department at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Her dual background in acute care and cosmetic medicine gives her a unique ability to deliver safe, effective, and beautifully natural results. Karen specializes in injectable treatments including Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, dermal fillers, and PDO thread lifting. Known for her gentle touch and artistic eye, she’s deeply committed to enhancing her patients’ natural beauty while boosting their confidence.

Whether she's rejuvenating faces or lifting spirits, Karen’s goal is simple: to help every patient leave feeling radiant, refreshed, and empowered.

Outside of the treatment room, Karen is a proud mom of three boys and loves balancing her busy professional life with family, laughter, and meaningful connections.

Licensed Medical Esthetician

Emma is a Licensed Medical Esthetician with advanced clinical training and a deep passion for corrective and anti-aging skincare. She specializes in creating customized facials focusing on corrective skincare, acne, hyperpigmentation, and aging concerns to help each patient achieve clearer, healthier, and more radiant skin through results-driven protocols.their unique skin goals.

Dedicated to staying at the forefront of the industry, Emma keeps up with the latest anti-aging trends, technologies, and products to deliver the best possible care. She believes in empowering her patients through education, providing guidance on skincare and at-home regimens to help maintain glowing, healthy skin long after each appointment.

Outside of the treatment room, Emma loves spending time at the beach, working out, exploring new places, and enjoying time out with friends.

Nyah is a passionate Medical Esthetician dedicated to helping you feel confident in your own skin. She believes skincare is more than just treatments—it’s an essential form of self-care and a powerful source of confidence.

Her approach is centered on creating a relaxing, elevated experience while delivering real, results-driven outcomes. Every treatment is thoughtfully designed so clients leave feeling refreshed, radiant, and truly their best.
